Tripod mount

The JustGoSketching Tripod Mounting Plate lets you use a tripod as a painting surface. Attach the bracket to your drawing board or pochade box using the 1/4" thread adapter for your camera tripod. 

For best results, use a board at least 9mm thick. If your board is thinner, you can glue the plate on with wood glue instead of screws. Use shorter screws for thinner boards; ensure they don’t protrude. For heavy boards, PVA wood glue with screws is recommended. Remember to hand-tighten screws, avoiding power drivers. 

Laser cut in the UK from birch plywood, the plate measures 9 x 9cm. Heavy pochade boxes may need machine screws, nuts, and washers.
