Collection: Hand mulled paints

All colours are hand-mulled in Cornwall using a traditional process and my own binder recipe: gum arabic, organic Cornish honey, glycerine, clove oil, and synthetic ox gall. These paints are made for traditional watercolour techniques, letting you build delicate layers and atmosphere over time.

My pigments come from a long-established London colourist (since 1881) and I use no fillers, bulking agents, or brighteners. The paints are transparent or semi-transparent (shown on swatches), and should be allowed to dry before closing your tin. Not for ingestion.

My paints have no fillers or bulking agents, no brighteners, and should not be ingested. Allow the paints to dry before putting them away to avoid any spillage.
